BACK TO 1983 FOR A DAY

My experience for this ‘project’ was very easy in my perspective. I say this in my reasoning that I was away on a vacation in Nayarit. I looked at this getaway as a time to relax, enjoy where I was, and the family who I surrounded myself with. I isolated myself from electronics, didn’t really have time for my iPod, computer, play video games, or even watch any T.V. I believe the best day of my trip was Sunday, November 21, 2010. I was so busy with my family from all over Nayarit, it didn’t even occur to me to use electronics that day. That day I woke up at breakfast, and then later some family came over so we began to play soccer. We got tired of that we walked to the quiosco, joined in the town’s volleyball tournament and got last place, but we had a good time overall. Around 1 pm we decided to go down to the beach, it was very hot that the mosquitoes ate us alive, and we found it would be good to go since there would be girls there. We then ate some food, swam for a bit, and just enjoyed sightseeing. As the night approached that day we decided to go home and shower so we could go into town again and watch a baseball game. The game ended around 11 pm so we went back home cleaned up and went to sleep. I then noticed that I didn’t need electronics to have this much fun, I found it easy to go a day without them due to so many activities.

Biomes Homework Part 2

Forest:
Quote: "Intact, the Amazon produces half its own rainfall through the moisture it releases into the atmosphere. Eliminate enough of that rain through clearing, and the remaining trees dry out and die"

Questions: How is it possible that the Amazon is able to make there own naturally rain when other place in the world there is no rain what so ever?

Comment: This quote doesn't really surprise me and the reason why is because I feel that sooner or later the world will be come like this. Its going to be pretty much the survival of the fittest, and who ever get the supplies will live and the rest will just die. Its sounds bad to say but its the truth.

Marine
Quote: "What it's been robbed of: Sharks. they've been slaughter by outside commercial fishermen supplying the shark-fin soup market. Commercial fishing remains a threat, as does logging and nickel mining."

Question: Is there a point were we as human race will stop endangering are self's and as well the animals that are left in the world? Us as high school students can we do to stop this happening?

Comment: I feel as though this is similar to the the forest one, but then at the same time it is not. The reason why is because you cant produce sharks and let them live if we the people are just killing them. Or really any animal that is living in the ocean.

Ice Paradise

Quote: "A remarkable thing happens when you give animals habitat and space."

Questions: Is this quote even possible with all the human need that we have? How much space would the animals be able to have with us being happy and them being "happy".

Fruity Garden

I understand that the pumpkins are not going to happen but I think that it would be very cool to have a mixture of every thing. Have it the true way that California is, the reason I saw this is because there is no real solid environment that we have in California. I want people to be able to eat in the garden fresh organic foods and relax and have a good time.
